Tim started in the music business in 1995 when he joined MCPS as a Dance Repertoire Researcher. During his 3 years there he dealt with everything from record company licensing to work registration to anti-piracy and royalty payments.
In 1998 he was poached by Bucks Music Group Limited and became the UK Copyright Manager and Dance A&R for the company. During this time he dealt with the other side of dealing with MCPS / PRS and served for a number of years on the Copyright Subgroup (which was involved in sorting the day to day royalty issues and problems the membership were having). In addition he signed numerous writers including Matthew Herbert, Si Hulbert (aka Studio B) & Professor Green (now Radio 1) whom he has worked closely with developing their careers.
In September 2005 Tim became the Head of A&R at Bucks Music Group Limited and has taken on responsibility of signing and developing acts across all genres. Recent signings include The Race (Shifty Disco Recs), Motion Pictures (1965 Recs), Alan Cassidy, D&B act TC and Sean Redmond.
Over the last two years Bucks Music Group Limited has been a fixture in the top 10 indie publishers in the UK with other acts and writers including Lil Chris, the co-writers for James Blunt's Back To Bedlam album, Sacha Skarbek and Amanda Ghost, and Sharam's PATT hit.
Bucks Music Group Limited are also one of the - if not the - biggest publishers of TV, Film & Media writers in the UK (including Dr Who, Little Britain and Ricky Gervais among its catalogue).
